So, what's happening?

It's now 1:50AM, I finally got to sign in.. I know I promised to post yesterday but there were some surprises, in particular three very cute little surprises that completely messed up my schedule, or well, mom's schedule for her dear dear daughter (that's me when HNK's got exams and I'm the only hope to get things done).
Aya, Ayman, Anas and their mom made us a visit in the morning, they had just returned from the suburb where my sister and her husband have moved recently due to work requirements. They visit us once a week now and the kids grow so fast between these visits. Ayman has turned ever so cute, I just can't take my eyes off him, he acts and speaks very cutely, and he gives hugs for free, unlike Aya who I have to bribe usually. Anas is smiling now, and looks cute too, sometimes at least! He's calm and I'm thinking he might start changing his own diapers soon if his parents keep having such busy schedules. Their life is a mess, doctors really shouldn't marry doctors.
Anyway, though they left us after lunch, they reluctantly came back in the afternoon since the kids' cousin had chickenpox and they didn't want them to get infected. The time between their departure and their arrival I got busy experimenting with the new DVD player dad bought. It had a nice feature, you can plug in any flash disk and it recognizes it immediately and displays any photos, videos or music that's on it. We spent more than an hour watching photos of our last visit to Syria. Turned out to be the most boring thing, especially having seen these at least a hundred times before, so I was yawning and half asleep in no time, and I successfully convinced mom that I was going to mop the floor after a short nap that lasted for an hour and a half! Before I got started with mopping the bell rang and we had visitors, then it rang again and we had more visitors.. mom and dad were at a funeral and so I and grandma were the only hosts.
Anyway, by 7 o'clock as we escorted my uncle and aunt to their car we found the three little surprises and their mom getting out of the car and planning on how to explain the matter to us gently.
Dad's next operation is due the day after tomorrow, the kids are apparently going to stay at our house till after the operation.. I'll be in charge of taking care of them during the operation since everyone else is going to be at the hospital, and HNK would be having her last final exam. Grandma would be with me but that only adds to the burden since they all have to be completely occupied, well fed, pleased and calm or else it means something is wrong and needs to be done according to grandma. Changing Anas's diapers far exceeds my area of expertise and so I have no idea how I'm going to manage.
So this post was supposed to be a short one because I'm dead tired and just had to tell you why I didn't post as promised.. I'm starting to think it would've been a better idea to write the post now and get it over with but it's too late :D
By the way, I got to mop the floor at night and finished at 10PM..
